Director Jamie Moffett will be the first of several guest director/speakers at the Compathos Film with Social Impact Director Series. This film series “presents new critically acclaimed releases, undiscovered gems along with established award winning films which account for a range of environmental and humanitarian impacts”. Moffett’s documentary, “Return to El Salvador” will kick off the series on September 2 at the HUB.

The HUB is a place to share as well as develop ideas for social and environmental change through both non profit, and for profit means. Information is exchanged, and support is given so that everyone can promote change more intelligently, and efficiently. Simply put, it is where “change goes to work”.

Compathos is a non-profit initiative which inspires action, advocacy and global citizenry through purposeful media. Compathos pioneers creative ways to bring awareness and support to key issues, worthwhile international projects and volunteer opportunities through film, video, audio, art, photography, journalism and digital storytelling. 
We believe the power of story not only inspires and raises awareness, but helps to multiply financial and volunteer resources to deserving groups, organizations and communities worldwide.
