Washington D.C. Screening of Return to El Salvador
Director Jamie Moffett will be attending the Washington D.C. debut of his feature, Return to El Salvador at the GALA Hispanic Theater from July 8th to 14th, and will be available for comment and interview after each screening. This will be another milestone of the film between its previous screening in Canadian Parliament, and its theatrical run.
Sojourners President, White House spiritual aide, and The Daily Show regular Jim Wallis will be hosting, and states that "This is the film Glenn Beck won't want you to see".
This film celebrates the courageous social justice churches of El Salvador that boldly confronted their country’s unjust and murderous regime, a government supported by U.S. foreign policy. Heroic church leaders, such as Archbishop Oscar Romero, endured the harshest threats until tragically their lives ended in martyrdom. Their story should embolden every believer to make social justice central to their faith."
The GALA Hispanic Theater is located at 3333 14th Street, NW Washington, DC.
